MANGO SEED MUSIC: The crown prince of Reggae, Dennis Emanuel Brown was an inspiration to many younger Jamaica reggae artistes including singer TONY CURTIS from Jamaica’s premier harmony quartet LUST. “HOW COULD I LIVE” written by Dwight Pinkney was recorded by D. Brown in the early 70’s at the legendary Studio One and remains one of ultimate reggae classic anthems of all times. As a tribute to the legacy of Dennis Brown, Tony Curtis covered “How Could I Live” at Truckback Records, produced by Steve Locke under the mentorship of Dwight Pinkney himself. Released exclusively on VIBES & TIDES set one July 19, 2011 digitally.
