Jeff Chavez, better known as Maluu ("Maw-loo") is a Producer/DJ from Seattle, WA. His unique alias is a variation of his hawaiian name "Kahai Malu" given to him at birth as part of hawaiian tradition. It means humble and peaceful. Fittingly, Maluu is shy, but through his love of hard hitting, energy driven music, has achieved a notable following with his ability to blend multiple tracks together in seamless fashion. His unique mashups are well known in the EDM community, clocking in at 1.8 million views on his youtube channel. As a DJ, Maluu has opened for several big names like Lucky Date, Carnage, and Congorock at Seattle's very own Foundation Nightclub, ranked #55 in the world via DJ Mag. He has played on the radio at c89.5's The Vortex , as well as a show in the college town of Isla Vista, California. In 2013 Maluu plans to build his own unique sound by furthering his skills as a producer so he can bring a new level of energy and excitement to the EDM community!
