About

I am the developer of Sonic Charge Microtonic, Synplant, Bitspeek and Permut8. I also helped creating Addictive Drums and I developed the Malström synth for Reason and the CWO effect for Teenage Engineering's OP-1.
I am trying out SoundCloud as a place to upload experiments, demo tracks and other sonical accidents that would otherwise just collect binary dust in my digital archives.
My intention is to link to song files, sources, tools etc in the track comments, so check them out.

It's actually a "hidden" feature in Permut8. You can find information on this on our forum. Search for SAM. You should find a downloadable SAM.p8bank, if you are a registered customer that is.

Outro drums. Even trippier random program switching than the intro.

Turning the "clock frequency" on this feedback distortion effect creates a dramatic ending.

Permut8 adds a transposing delay effect similar to the one on the strings, but less glitchy.

Synplant strings (based on the patch "Travelling Waves"). The reverb is the built-in.

@Geche: Thanks. It was some time ago so I don't quite recall, but yeah, I guess you could call it that. The entire radio sort of happened by accident when I was making and testing factory patches.

@teadrinker: The whole track reminds of Vangelis (in a good way, not in a rip-off-way). Like something from the album Direct. Check it out for some serious 80's synth sounds.

@than: Thanks! The voice is duplicated on three tracks with +7 and +12 semi-tones pitch-shift -&rt; three chained choruses with different rates (for good diffusion) -&rt; compressor and auto-pan for a beat-synced volume lfo. (I use this a lot for a "ducking effect" instead of side-chaining compressors.)
