    A poem addressing Chicago and the situation with its young, particularly its black youth. With violence at a heartbreaking steady increase, with police locking up brown and black men at extremely high rates, shooting them down and judges giving sentences longer than them young folk can read , with school systems that fail young people and the graduation rate at 50%, with mayor rahm fucking over public education and with no hope in site, this was written. A change is going to come, but "change doesn't come just because you're begging for it."
