Makul is a 32 year old Polish hip-hop/trip-hop producer and a vinyl record collector living in Ireland. Arriving on the scene in 1996, he has been involved with various underground projects, collaborating with artists from Kaliber 44, Mad Crew and ABCD Crew. In 2001 he worked with DJ Bart of Mad Crew on the track "Te melodie" for Poland's first turntablist record "Manewry Ciętego Dźwięku".
Moving away from hip-hop he spent the next several years composing various tracks for different projects including soundtrack for a short documentary about medieval Krakow. He also composed music for The Polish National Museum in Krakow and mobile phone companies, Nokia.and Siemens in the interim.
In 2009 he returned to the hip-hop scene, releasing a vinyl 12" only single called poJAZZd jednośladowy / wylananabitykawa. The single featured moka-T (MC), 2007 IDA World Champion DJ Eprom (scratches and cuts) and Student A of ABCD Crew (remix).
Makul has also remixed a song of Bisc1 (New York based graffiti artist and MC) titled "Strange love", for which he won the very first edition of the Remix IT contest hosted by Radio Rewers.
Currently Makul is working on various remixes, another vinyl release with Moka-T as well as his solo trip-hop album featuring the artists from all around the globe.
