Federico Foglia and Alex Ormas are MAGNVM. It is unknown how a breakcore producer and a "party-animal" dj got together a couple of years ago.
They gave birth to one of the most honest and interesting electronic project from Italy. First they did a couple of remixes for Pinkrays and Useless Wooden Toys, then they put their hands on Congorock, Birdee and Pink Is Punk singles and made their own reinterpretation of them. First Ep "Bingo" came out in 2010 for Funch Records, wrapped up with remixes by NT89, Reset! and the duo started playing shows all over Italy supporting best international acts like Skrillex, Congorock, Crookers, Spiller, Jaymo & Andy George and many others. "Wild Rumpus" is their second Ep released by Woot Records, an amazing mix of electro, house and techno which included remixes by Supabeatz, el Puerco and Dj Color. Month after month things got bigger: more shows, a new fan base and lots of time spent in studio doing new music.

Federico Foglia e Alex Ormas aka MAGNVM. Non è dato sapere come un producer breakcore underground e un dj agitatore sociale della nightlife milanese si siano conosciuti un paio di anni fa. Quel che è certo è che in in poco tempo sono rusciti a dar vita ad uno dei progetti più onesti ed interessantii dedicati al dancefloor anni zero. Una manciata di remix per Pinkrays, Congorock, Birdee, Pink Is Punk e Useless Wooden Toys li ha fatti venire a galla, mentre il primo Ep "Bingo" (Funch Records), frutto di giornate passate in studio e notti insonni, li ha portati a spasso in giro per i club dello stivale. "Wild Rumpus", il secondo Ep uscito per Woot Records, non ha fatto altro che confermare il valore e le coordinate Magnvm: electro, house, techno. Mese dopo mese i fan sono aumenti, dancefloor riempiti e i lavori in studio moltiplicati. MACHETE e Pull Up sono appena state rilasciate da southern fried per la compilation del 2012 fried & tested 4.
