A set containing the sounds recorded by "playing" Jewish ritual objects included in the exhibition, "Case Study No. 3 | Sound Objects," curated by Francesco Spagnolo at The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life, University of California, Berkeley. The exhibition combines the study of material culture with the emerging field of sound studies, and investigates the role of objects that emit sound in synagogue rituals.

Recordings made by Francesco Spagnolo with an iPhone 4S and the SoundCloud App. The objects recorded were handled by Julie Franklin, Registrar.
