Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross - Blow Remixed EP is out everywhere digitally today! Features six producer’s depictions of Dawn Golden’s original “Blow” EP. Taking on the tracks "White Sun" and “Blacks,” these producers bring the tracks into new realms of musical territories. DNTEL, The Get, and Shlohmo take on the track “Blacks,” while Jaycek, Arrange, and Stenchman reinvent the dramatic, "White Sun".
"Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross is the work of 24 year old producer Dexter Tortoriello. Influenced by everything from doom metal bands like Neurosis to avant noise artists such as Xiu Xiu, the songs pound with a
calm, but dire urgency. The music is a mix of manipulated live instruments, dusty drum machines, and swells of broken synthesizers. The songs are meant to bring about a melancholy familiarity, like going
back to the house where you grew up and finding it the way you left it, only 10 years later and everything is falling apart. "
