About
Paolo Villanueva is a solo composer and member of the band Population 3. He is well versed with the piano, guitar, violin and often composes for short films and other various short videos. He is also a professional photographer, film maker and video editor which is what he most commonly known for.
Most of his compositions are inspired by the indie styles of Joanna Newsom and Owen Pallett at the same time having motifs of his famous soundtrack composers such as Danny Elfman, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson Williams, and Nobuo Uematsu at the same time remaining true to the classical music in which he loves to listen to.
Aside from classical music he also loves to listen almost every genre of music most especially Country, Rock, Musicals and Vocals however not very keen on modern R&B. Paolo is currently studying in the Ateneo University with the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and is on a personal project discovering new sounds and harmonics and is still available to take requests for composing.
