Lyn Charles started out recording in his bedroom with the bear necessities (a macbook pro, a mic and logic 8). Then, upon purchasing more home studio equipment, he ran into a producer at Dre and Vidal’s studio 609 in Philadelphia. The friendship that he acquired from studio 609 producer Kung Fu started the Lyn Charles saga. Recently, Charles has completed his debut studio album entitled American Tragedy (http://www.datpiff.com/Lyn-Charles-American-Tragedy-mixtape.229070.html) . With features from artists like Big K.R.I.T, Kendrick Lamar, Philadelphia Freeway, and BJ the Chicago Kid, Lyn Charles wishes to command the “top spot”. Also the project features multi Grammy award winning production from Vidal Davis and other established producers such as: Kung Fu and Matrax. Charles is currently an independent artist on his own label “LynandGreed” with offers on the table.
