The Brazilian Band N.O.V.A initially arose as a experimental music project in 2002, When the musician Alexander Gonçalves aka Mano and the producer and dj Adriano Garcia aka Haveck, friends of long time, get in touch and decide to create some sound experience mixing traditional music with electronic music. the first impact resulted in the songs “O Porvir”, “A Tarde” and “Technova”, all marked by this experimental feature. After some Shows the project was disabled and each musician returns to their particular career.

In October of 2008 starts the process of recordings the new songs due to the good performance and also the motivated positive critical received during the shows.
However the job was losing the experimental character and consolidating as a band, without forsaking the experimental essence that's the fundamental feature of the project.

The N.O.V.A building a nostalgic dimension where transit and converge elements of electronic music, indie rock and also of Brazilian music of 50's, specifically of João Gilberto's Bossa Nova. The result of this experience is a simple and subtle poetic that ultimately reveal a daring and original work.
