    3. Slim Steve Allen on June 10, 2009 17:44

@Lunchtray: Yeah, fresh and summery. Scattered like beats. Its tracks like these that everyone hears and tries to make a track just like it, but never quite getting it right. Lead the way sir!

    4. Slim Steve Allen on June 10, 2009 17:48

@Slim Steve Allen: Its the balance between dry/wet and electronic/organic, the right balance of melody/FX+beats which makes this so good. Spot on

Labyrinth also is the name of a reeeaaally cheesy italian progressive metal band. On the other hand, Anahata is one of my favourite albums from the 90s. Nice work on the track, cheers.

this whole segment beginning at 1.23 through 2.28 is the coolest groove of the track. and then after 2.46 it's cool but the most groove is right in here and i love it.

I really dislike reason (cause of the handling, the cheesy presets...) but the sound architecture of your track is pretty outstanding...Never thought such clear sounds could be achieved out of this shitty program. A really nice ambient tune, love it!

    2. Lunchtray on July 07, 2009 17:28

@gommoral: yeah man, I feel the same way about Reason lately. I used to use it a lot, but have grown to like Logic so much more. This track was originally made in reason, so I decided to redo it in reason as well. It was hard to make it sound like that, lol. And I still want to redo it in Logic cause it still doesn't sound quite right to me. thanks for the listen! :)

yes I agree there is space for another dominant rythmic element. It somehow also feels a bit acidy...so maybe a bit more screaming/modulated lead could do wonders as well...? Has already lots of good character though so don't ruin it!! ;-)

    2. Lunchtray on June 18, 2009 23:07

@SCHMUCKFENSTER: cheers man. thanks for the feedback. it encourages me to open this up and take another look at it. heck, maybe even finish it :-p
