@Lukas Taido Velvet: ooops wasn't finished yet. Wanted to add ...sorry for the smartass sounding comments. Just trying to help (if I am competent enough at all ;-) Just a general thing, normalizing is more something to lift the level of individual tracks e.g. if badly recorded (= a bad STN-ratio), or to be applied VERY carefully, at very subtle levels (around 0,5 - 2 Db) and at the right point in the chain in mastering... (in MY view. Everybody has it's own view(s)...

@rudranath537: Hi Rudranath... applying a hard limiter after normalizing wouldn't make sense as there will be nothing left to limit.... If you plan on using a limiter, use it BEFORE normalizing (and there will be nothing lft that needs to be normalized afterwards). Under "normal" circumstances you will need no normalizing as the mix has enough general amplitude. If it has distortions, normalzing cannot take "them out"... best to re-adjust the individual levels of the tracks, sum it up well, then limit...

Like the sequencer... reminds me of this 80's track (but in a positive sense ;-) ... something with "space"...don't remember (no, NOT Donna Summer "I feel love" ;-) .... with one of the first repetitive 16th- Moog sequences... Nice time warp and still a fresh track you've made. There's even place for another element perhaps...?

@DeeperNET: Thank you ! Concerning original...well - all songs of the project "Velvet Phoenix" are originals, we just used to call them remixes because Frauke (Phoenix) wrote (and still plays) them unplugged on acoustic guitar. But now we re-named us as a project when I create studio-versions of the songs...

Awesome harmonies, and great groovy syncopes in the melody. Also like the guitar (or high bass string) floating in with the vol pedal... really beautiful stuff !! A LIIIITLE pity -but perhaps only in my opinion- is the strong presence of the BD... just a tick too much room+noise+low mid's... ? Little distracting from the flow...but I am on Walkmanphones + Laptop right now, got to check it in the studio... perhaps I'll TAKE IT ALL BACK ;-) Great track either way...
