Luigi Grillone, aka "Luj the Admiral", is an Italian-born Dj who also happenes to be a member of the Italian Coastguard. Not wanting to be labeled as simply a house Dj, he works in many styles, and consistently produces unique House, Tribal, Progressive, Deep, Minimal recordings. In the summer 2007 the song "Blu Inside", composed by Luj, arrive at the final stage of Notte Insonne "Dj&Producer Contest 2007" sponsored by Trend Magazine, M2O Radio and Mediakademy composed of a jury of excellence including Massimo Cominotto, Gianni "Satellite" De Luise , Jois Audino and Domenico Augliera. After one year and over twentyfive productions realized, the Admiral tried again at Notte Insonne "Dj&Producer Contest 2008" conquesting the second place for the Producer category with the song "Goodbye Pj". At present he works with two important American-Italian Digital labels "DanceRecords" and "Dedalosound" who provide to sell and to promote, on the web,many productions of the Italian artists. Besides he works, under the guide of the Director Ivan Cianchetta, with RadioEsse; an important italian radio joined in "Tendenzia circuit" who represents the best djs on 100 best italian radios. At the same time, the "Admiral" cooperate with SpaceRadionet on "HousePassionMix program". He say: "My music is my oxygen. It is never affected by moods or by different things that happen in life. I am always feel inspired by every thing that surrounds me. To me, this is normal."
