About

LOXODROME are on the road since 1999. After several changes in the line-up, two founding members of the Upper Austrian Five-Piece are still in the band: singer Michael Aitzetmueller and bass player Paul Ablinger. While drummer Christoph Huettner entered the band in 2003, the current guitarists Gregor Ottinger and Gerald Spiegel joined in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Despite these and other changes, LOXODROME have not only inspired the crowd in Austria with their music, but they have also managed to reach people beyond regional limits by touring across Europe, from Glasgow to Tallinn. In addition, they have to date recorded three LPs and two EPs, which were supported by several videos, etc.
In live performances as well as recordings LOXODROME have been able to keep up with major acts, as their music easily competes at an international level.

LOXODROME continue their success with their new EP series "MIRRORS", which is another significant step forward. It is characterized by easy accessibility and deep grooves. A sophisticated arrangement makes the tracks remain in the listeners' heads. Variety and tightness, complexity and catchy melodies, reinforced by their new release!
