NICE TUNE, I LIKE THE AFROSTYLE Brass-Section-Break. I think the rest of the track would be even better with more alterations and production elements. It kind of sounds like a loopbased 90ies style track... waht do you think?
- Loud Minority Radio on September 25, 2009 10:23
i totally agree! ha. i was just a simply drum loop and the horns plus delays. but i thought keep it simple and raw. Thanks

Loud Minority
Named after Frank Fosters' seminal slice of proto-panther free jazz big band guerilla funk, Loud Minority was initially instigated as an intimate party by Bournemouth based soon to be superstar DJ's Cross and Cornelius. The latter had formally been going loco down in Tokyo, playing a central role in the eradication of the feudal system and the emergence of post bushido acid disco, whilst the former earned his stripes down under, playing ghettotech to pub rockers. With a combined record collection reflecting years of spinning tracks, the duo gained notoriety for their genre fucking sets which encompassed bebop, rare groove, northern soul, italo house, electro pop, hip hop, dancehall, indie punk, rocksteady, everything in between, and a whole lot of shit on the outside as well.
But then tragedy struck when Cross, emboldened by his experiences in Australia, traveled to Norway as a Miami Bass missionary, where a particularly salacious indiscretion between himself and the eldest Princess Stoltenberg led to him being exiled to the fjords, and he was never heard of again.
But unperturbed by this setback (and in fact rather pleased that he now has the spotlight all to himself) Cornelius launched as Loud Minority Radio.
Meanwhile back in Tokyo, ex-Boscombe funk junkie and Tokyo flatmate of Cornelius, Hash aka Hashzilla aka Mr Hash, was busy establishing samurai.fm. After much seclusion and training in the fine art of the chon-mage, he seized an opportunity to infiltrate into the vast Tokyo party infrastructure, inspired by the arrival of old accomplice and new neighbour, Dirk Bite aka Bobby Buellens. Hailing from Australia under false pretences, Jaybee single-handedly (because the other hand was holding a drink) and unexpectedly (even to himself) brought mayhem to many dance floors around the capital. The Tokyo team crystallized forming a DJ and bartending unit and henceforth Loud Minority Radio reaches all corners of the Earth and the dark side of the Moon.
Featuring their own turntable skills - complimented with guest mixes from cutting edge like minded DJ's - and with a musical ethos to match the sentiment expressed on the record after which they are named, Loud Minority are "a part of those concerned with change". And dancing.
