There are around 900 recordings of London life on the London Sound Survey website, plus sound maps, historical references to past London sounds and much more. Click on the link above to have a look and a listen.

To get your London recordings onto the Survey, all you have to do is select a file to upload and enter a what-where-when description. Feel free to include a URL for your own blog or website too.

All the recordings here are Creative Commons-licensed so you can use them for non-commercial use - just bung in an acknowledgement and a link to the London Sound Survey website at http://www.soundsurvey.org.uk.
