Ms. VON DISKO a.k.a. Vondie is the nightlife alter ego for Candela Uve, Spanish dj and promoter. Since an early age Candela was interested in music, feeling passion for rock´n´roll, punk or grunge. In 2007 Lola von Disko is born to discredit purist djs, to provoke and to be provoked, to demand the non club culture, to insult minimal, she is born to express herself in a free way, based on self-defe...nce and self-sufficiency, she is born to announce that electronic music is not the future, but the present.

Ms. von Disko means electro, punk and energy. During her sets you can listen to styles such as bassline, maximal, fidget house, dubstep, drum & bass, electro or new rave, with a touch of rock, punk, metal and hip hop, making her influences come together. In 2008 she becomes the alma mater and promoter of Dirty Disko parties, aimed at electro, technopunk, trash and new wave with some lives and sets.

Ms. von Disko´s multidiscipline arrives in 2008 with Fokin Massive, a crew which was included on the Top Ten for the best national djs in Rock Delux Magazine from 2008. There, in Fokin Massive, she carried out some convincing and lively drum and bass sets, until 2010, when she leaves it to cover new projects on her own.

Under the alias of Cherry Death, she just executes rock & roll sets, going through the 50´s until now, putting up with styles such as psychobilly, surf, post punk, garage, new wave, electrorock, metal...

At present, Ms. von Disko is part of the project Face Down Ass Up Club as promoter and resident dj, along with Sweet Sinners djs and the fashion designer Sr. Craneo. The club is one of the electro clubs of reference. With Face Down Ass Up, she is one of the ambassadors for the clothing brands WESC and The Hundreds. Moreover, she belongs to the What The Fuck duo with the dj and producer Emceemismado.

Ms. von Disko has been featured in several media, giving interviews or being reviewed, having being called “the electro dominatrix” or “party queen”, such as El Mundo,El Periodico, Zum,A Little Beat,El Heraldo, Neonized, ...
