Loadstar, made up of Gavin Harris and Nick Hill, has surpassed the highest expectations in recent years by fusing their individual styles and creating a pioneering sound that imbues club dance floors, iPods and huge festival arenas with incredible energy and impeccable musical precision.

Tracks like ‘Link to the Past’ have cemented Loadstar as one of the hottest rising production acts in the drum & bass scene, their blistering DJ performances fronted by fellow Bristolian and close friend MC Texas have put them at the forefront of the DJ circuit while ‘Future Perfect’, their forthcoming debut album, is one of the most eagerly anticipated releases on every D&B fans’ wish list.

Well, to whet your appetite for what is undoubtedly going to be an incredible long player, Loadstar and Ram Records are giving away an immense single. Yes, you read that correctly, they’re giving away two huge original Loadstar tracks absolutely free!

And while the cynical amongst you may see the word “free” and expect a sub-par or half-hearted effort, Loadstar have opted to unleash two of their biggest tracks to date. ‘Second Skin’ and ‘Terror Drone’, these are massive slabs of drum & bass that every DJ, broadcaster and club-goer will want to get their hands on.

‘Second Skin’ brings you euphoric build-ups and epic vocals that wind and grind their way to a cavernous drumstep drop. Packed with half-time beats and full-time energy this is one to destroy the floor with.

Backing that up ‘Terror Drone’ is a darker, techier piece that’s infused with punchy beats and skipping rhythms, sure to please anyone who likes their tunes with a little more attitude.
