Early morning at Paquette Lake, Cape Breton Highlands, Nova Scotia. I was recording the dawn chorus over the lake using my Telinga SSM connected to an Olympus LS-100. The tripod was just a few feet from the water's edge. A female moose and her calf approach the microphone... listen to hear the whole story.

@Marco Pesente: Toward the lake... the Moose arrived from the left, and walked behind the mic before re-entering the water and splashing away to the right.

Were the capsules facing toward the lake or back to the woods? Are moose walked in front or behind the capsules?

I am really impressed by the realism of the sound stage: a great compliment to you ... but also to Klas Strandberg, the manufacturer of Telinga SSM!!!

Great recording Ray, love the interaction between mum and baby. The Cape Breton Highlands is a real gem. Thanks for sharing this.
