As one of the original members of Massive Selector, a San Francisco-based collective of artists, DJ's, and entrepreneurs, Marky helped bring parties such as Wonder-Full: A Tribute to the Wonders of Stevie, and Soul Slam: Prince & Michael Jackson from New York to the West Coast. Heavily influenced by soul, disco, hip-hop, and house, Marky’s sound definitely caters to the dancefloor. His mix CD’s, known for their global flavor and crossing genres seamlessly, have created quite a buzz with music lovers. Marky has played alongside internationally known artists such as ?uestlove, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Gilles Peterson, DJ Spinna, Bobbito Garcia, Peanut Butter Wolf, Dam-Funk, Prefuse 73, Flying Lotus and countless others. As a Gallery Director, Marky has helped make The Summit - a cafe, art gallery, and tech space, one of San Francisco’s most exciting new venues to open in 2010.
