Scandinavia’s favourite vampire, Little Jinder aka Josefine Jinder is no stranger to electronic music, at age 16 she was more inclined to be found in a studio listening to Joy Division and Art of Noise than out partying. Her first live performance was on a Swedish Talkshow in 2008, and now how times have changed. Little Jinder signed to New York’s bass label Trouble & Bass in 2008 and hasn’t looked back. Her debut EP Polyhedron was released in 2008, followed the sultry “Youth Blood” which gained critical acclaim, now 2011 beckons the release of her debut album.
Little Jinder effortlessly merges haunting, mystical pop songs with disco beats, soaring synths and dubstep tempos, she can easily be considered one of the most exciting artists to come out of Sweden in recent years.
“Youth Blood” was released via T&B in 2009, and due to the success of the record across the sea, was picked up by Ministry of Sound in 2010. In addition to the critically acclaimed Original Mix, were remixes from the likes of Bok Bok, Renaissance Man, 12th Planet & Flinch, Subeena, Tony Senghore & Kavsrave that ensure the “Youth Blood” continues to pulsate through your speakers in 2011.
2011 sees Little Jinder working with an array of producers, keep your ear to the ground, as this is only the beginning…
