1. Back From The Street
2. This Game
3. Winter Groove

A cocktail of Soul and Jazz with shot of bass, Blade’s summer ready F.A.M.E. EP packs in a trio of scintillating tracks - continuing Liquid V’s mission to put out consistent, chilled and classy DnB. Just add sunshine!

Blending tracks since the tender of age of 15, it’s no surprise that Blade soon wanted to make tunes of his own. Turning to production at the age of 22, Blade’s unmatched production is both a reflection of his inspiration and an insight into his own, innovative, developed style.

Listening to classics from Marvin Gay and Willie Hutch to Bob Marley, Beethoven and Quincy Jones, Blade’s mesmerising Jazz & Soul influenced beats have been destroying clubs for years - as well as gaining support from from D&B heavy weights like LTJ Bukem, Bryan G, Fabio, Goldie, Grooverider along the way.

Back From The Streets fuses 70’s soul with modern drum and bass. Rolling drums and warm bass have all the hallmarks of a classic Liquid V track whilst vocal flourishes add an extra layer of vibe. This Game continues the journey to 70’s New York with swinging strings and brass laying on the funk. Winter Groove plays out the EP and it’s a dark, rolling number. Snapping drums and ethereal vocals float over a bassline that harks back to the seminal days of V Recordings, whilst polished synths continue the retro vibe.
