About

My SoundCloud is like a soft, huggable toilet bowl, and I am the obnoxious one who keeps yelling "shots" after the party has already wound down and everyone has started watching Netflix. Don't expect finished products here as those will likely go to a special place meant just for things that aren't terrible and more than four hours old from conception to upload.

Feel free to comment and be sure to leave constructive criticism.

Thanks!

@Brandon Tadday: Hey that's still really cool. Your mix is really solid. Do you have any free time to collaborate on anything?

This a pretty sick track. I love the tone! Your drums could be a little more creative, but the guitar work is great. What kind of guitar do you have, and what tuning do you use?

I think the measure right after the hard drop could be done a little better, but I like the switch up of how you play the chords, and the bass was really awesome. Overall wish it was longer, but this is a great start from you.

This doesn't sound anywhere near as iconic, or even generally as good, as the first two. This sounds like a very elaborate algorithm was responsible for the composition rather than an actual composer.

It comes to my attention that the drone is a little loud, but probably one of the more interesting features of this song.

Sounds like it could use some drums and there should be a ramp-up around here, but maybe you're not writing electronica? It's a really nice, expressive piece.

@superhexagon: Yes, but you can usually export your sequencer data to midi data, and then I can import it into whatever program I use and make my own mix.

The fret buzzing sound is distracting. Also, I think the bells might sound better an octave up. The structure is nice, the melody is catchy, and all in all it's a fun song. Maybe also include a jazz brush snare and use a closed hi-hat for the first bit.

Really good tones, man. Very heavy on the 'dub' part.
