Born in 1982 in Rooty Hill, 'the Vegas of the West', Australia, Miss Dolemite is proud to announce to her newly adopted American family that she is the bastard child of the infamous Dolemite. Not having met her father, her mother, P-Town, met Sir Dolemite while they were filming the unreleased 1982 film 'Dolemite Down Under: and his all sheila army of knife fightin' f*ckers'. P-Town instilled in her daughter a love of old soul and funk music. Many a night was spent sitting on the Veranda, sipping root beer, swatting flies and drinking in the heady tunes of James Brown, Issac Hayes, Sharon Jones, Ottis Reading and The Jackson Five. She knew music was to become her obsession and greatest joy.
Inspired by her pappa's bravado, soul, spunk and funk, Li'l Miss Dolemite's goal was to become the funkiest white girl this world had ever seen and to take the Dolemite name into the new century.
