LICKI UCROJ is a performance raptor: rapper, writer, solo performer, and apprentice to master ripper Jack of Co.Z;
Currently, Licki is recording THE CARPET MIXTAPES by LICKI UCROJ, a three-part demo series to serve as a precursor to her memoir (CARPET: or, how DD's, MD's, and universiD's left me sleeping on the floor), which will be shockingly honest, heartbreakingly hilarious, and generally like nothing you've ever before read.
Her solo comedy/cabaret/concert shows, "how to do thangz with wordz" and "valencrimez" premiered to large audiences at Brown University and received several grants and awards for excellence in the performing arts. Licki recently performed "how to do thangz with wordz" live in the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival and other independent performance venues in Los Angeles.
Licki's inceptor is going to be a very serious and very famous actress, but Licki has one up on her because Licki doesn't have to be worried about her reputation. Still, Licki would love to be your hero, if you will let her.
About CompanyZ (from Jack of Co.Z ):
"CompanyZ and Co.Z are parts of a parody record label, based on YMCMB and Rocafella Records. They are as much a parody of a rap record label as a Lamborghini is a parody of a sports car. So yeah, they're the shit."

Jack & The Mad Psyentist;
"In May of 2010, my locked, heart-shaped box gave birth to Licki Ucroj, a hip hop- inspired alter ego to whom I gift rapped and left the key to understanding myself. Why Licki Ucroj? Phonetically, Licki Ucroj rhymes with Nicki Minaj – currently the hip-hop industry’s most coveted and controversial female icon, a rapper who uses her theatre training to vocalize verses with uncanny characterizations and dynamic performativity. Cathartically, Licki Ucroj names, and therefore makes palpable, a space for the parts of myself that make others -- and me -- uncomfortable, a space for the parts of myself that have little room to breathe. Laughably, Licki Ucroj is ridiculous, naïve, vulgar, and hopelessly sincere; all things I am, and all things I often loathe being."
