The Liam Tarpey Band are an energetic young Blues trio from London UK, comprising of Liam Tarpey (guitar and vocals), Rob Millard (bass and vocals) and James Taylor (drums). They formed in mid 2011, have been gigging extensively since and released their acclaimed debut album ‘Warm up my Bones’ in October of the same year. With constant airplay on UK and international Blues radios and album reviews in big publications such as Classic Rock Magazine, they are rapidly gaining a solid fan base.
In the 4th quarter of 2011, The Liam Tarpey Band has played at some of the most respected London venues and has been re-booked for multiple gigs at every venue. Their style, comprising of Southern Blues, Rock and Soul makes them stand out and have always played to standing ovations at every show. Within weeks they were approached by GFI promotions (Billy Joel; Meatloaf; Gary Numan; Alice Cooper; Toto; etc...) who have since been looking after all the band’s press and radio coverage. Shortly after, they were approached by photographer Matt Perkins, who has been following the band to every show and has provided them with some great shots.
With a fantastic new website designed and created by Nic Barbier (Nokia, BBC, ITV, Channel 4), they have already sold many CDs both online and after live shows, establishing a large online fan base that are kept up-to-date with all events. They have been tipped on multiple occasions to have a promising career in the business as they are both technically skilled and deliver an exciting live performance.
