About

Li Ark is an alternative rock band formed at Darmstadt — nearby Frankfurt, famous for it's art nouveau — in early 2009, and consists of Christian Heyse (drums), Dennis Jakobi (bass), Shamidt (guitars) and Christian Strauss (vocals).

Inspired by past projects such as Another Perfect Day, Mangrove 51, Ninos Santos and Planet Ersag, Li Ark creates a musical cross-over from rock, pop, reggae, dub and funk.

Li Ark self-released their debut album 'Li Ark' in 2010, and the follow up album 'An Echo Remains' in 2012.
