In late July, Harry Metcalfe, Managing Director of The Dextrous Web was part of a delegation of developers, politicians and business leaders who visited India along with the Prime Minister, David Cameron. Harry his developer colleagues participated in a hack day with Indian counterparts, looking at how the web and mobile technologies could be used in India for social good. I caught up with him on his return to talk about the trip, the role for technology in supporting civil society, and the experience of working with Indian developer counterparts.
