About
LessNoise
No doubt born for the love of music, LessNoise (Fher Rivera), has taken a very strict, thin line of delicious, dirty sounds and combined them with an extraordinary fusion of Dub, Breaks, Tech House, Deep House, and Techno, among other sensual ingredients, to create mixes so full of life and energy as to be instantly identifiable.
After 20 years of musical trajectory, Fher has been involved with many projects since he owned his first guitar at the age of 10. Fher played bass guitar with a local rock band when he was 13, and joined a new age orchestra when he was 15. In 1998, at the age of 18, he traded in his drum kit and guitars for his first pair of turntables and turned to the electronic music scene. Soon after he became an icon inside the local electronic scene and later headlined important events in Central and North America, including his own radio show from one of the most important radio stations in New York City, Downshift Radio. Broadcasting worldwide, Downshift has gained thousands of listeners around the globe as well as the respect from the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Dave Seaman, Chris Fortier, Infected Mushroom and James Zabiela, to name a few.
LessNoise’s personal and collaborative performances have shined with intense sets that have left partygoers longing for more. Stimulating all the senses and inspiring an atmosphere of sensual energy, his music and his vibe have set the mood at many events, sharing the stage with diverse projects and DJs like Steve Lawler, Satoshi Tomiie, Christopher Lawrence, Nick Warren, Hector Romero, Ralph Falcon, Nigel Richards, Scott Hardkiss, Infusion, Anthony Pappa, Nortec Collective, Astro&Glyde, Sean Cusick, Steve Porter and many more.
