Let’s follow the slimy path of Les Limaces (The Slugs). Benoit Carreau (Le Carro) and Alexandre Caron (Zed Aksis) met in 2002 while partying on the dance floor! Benoit has always been playing music, he first started with piano, then learned to play drum, guitar and even a bit of bass. Alex has been deejaying since 2000 and is still very active as a DJ in Montreal.
Both of them have been producing electronic music since 2002 on their own, learning the basics and finding their sound! They finally tried to jam together in 2008 and Les Limaces were born!
Les Limaces sound is groovy and melodic at the same time, using big bouncy bass and psycho pads blended together to create dance floor oriented tracks while writing a new story every time.

Suivez le parcours gluant des limaces! Benoit Carreau (Le Carro) et Alexandre Caron (Zed Aksis) ont fait connaissance en 2002, en feu sur un plancher de dance. Benoit est musicien depuis toujours, allant du piano à la basse en passant par la batterie et la guitare. Alex est DJ depuis l’an 2000 et est toujours très actif aux platines sur la scène électronique montréalaise.
Tous deux produisent de l’électronica depuis 2002, apprenant les bases et cherchant leur son chacun de leur coté. Ils se retrouvent finalement pour une session en 2008 et Les Limaces étaient nées!
Le son des Limaces et groovy et mélodieux à la fois. Ils superposent de grosses basses bondissantes et des nappes tordues pour donner place à des pistes très dansantes, tout en écrivant une nouvelle histoire à chaque fois.
