I COMPOSE & record at home as a hobby. I'm a perfectionist who will spend hours on tiny details of tone &/or feel until everything sounds 99% right to me, even if it's barely noticeable. Despite using mostly keyboards I prefer a final mix with an organic quality avoiding the static, robotic character of some "synth music". Therefore, I devote much time to meticulously-crafting drum, bass, synth, & guitar sounds playing them in time with subtlely undulating midi tempo changes to create the illusion of a band instead of an individual.
