About
Lena was born in Samara (Russia) in 1985 and was interested in music from her childhood. It all started with 7 years of piano classes. Her love for music grew gradually to an infatuation with contemporary choreography and for two years she worked with the best dance show groups of Samara city. Her dance career finished when Lena discovered a strong desire to try herself at something new and in 2006, during an adventurous time in Chicago, she played her first DJ set. From Chicago she returned to Samara where her DJ career continued successfully and she moved to Moscow in 2008. One year later she began to produce her own music. Her release "Probate" on Blumenbeat got terrific response amongst DJ’s and was charted by Jeremy P. Caulfield and many others.
Lena was a member of the promotional group and female dj's community "Habits Die" (consisted of 3 people - Ryba, Yuka and Lena Deen). The Project gained credibility in the event organization with an involvement of foreign artists in Russia. She had also well-received back-to-back DJ duo: "Toxic tuna" (with Alla Farmer), which was a successful part of the "Habits Die" parties and «SSMESS» parties of the legendary moscow club “Solyanka”.
Nowadays you can also catch Lena play on a regular basis in Moscow. Her style varies from deep techno to psychedelic techno/ minimal techno music.
