Bio:
If you see a crowd going mad and stomping their feet while dark ‘n’ dirty harddance is hitting the speakers it’s surely Lee Mac on decks.
This young kid from Waterford Ireland is way ahead of the masses. He creates his own sound which has up-tempo hardstyle as a solid basis and unmistakably futuristic elements of electro, techno and even dubstep. Heavy bass, dirty sounds and some highly aggressive drops worth the 21st century.
Creative minds go fast sometimes. Slightly one year after he started producing his own music and playing around in foggy underground clubs, Lee Mac was signed for an official track release on Virus Audio in 2010. The next year a huge series of track, remix and E.P. releases followed on well known labels like Kiddfectious, Analogue is Dead and ultimately a well deserved E.P. release on Activator’s Subground.
In 2012, at only 20 years of age, Lee finds himself dragged into the roller coaster of world famous Q-dance. The biggest festivals were his playground: at the Q-dance stages of Tomorrowland (Belgium) and Mysteryland (Netherlands) and the Qult stages of Q-Base (Germany) and Defqon 1 (Netherlands) the crowds went crazy.
His tracks are now played and remixed by some of the biggest names on the planet like Activator, Kutski, A*S*Y*S, Thilo & Evanti and more and also appear on multiple compilation albums such as Defqon 1 2012, Mysteryland 2012 and Yoji's "Vible 03".
Lee Mac’s ready for the future. Rock on!
