"Dreams in the Rain" is another song for the In Search of the Lost Souls album project, a concept story album based around the story of the fisher family Michael, Margaret and their 5 year old daughter Jemima, of whom Michael as seen both is wife and daughter taken away from him by the lost souls that reside in the garden of an empty house next door to the house they have just moved into.

This part of the story is very much the day after the horrified events have taken place and sees Michael in a dream state. This will more than likely be track 6 of the album, track 7 will be the instrumental self titled album track "In Search of the Lost Souls" which I released sometime back on my cloud.

Once again the music to the track I did way back in September 2011, and its been very much lying there waiting for lyrics. The only additions to it that have been added this year are the additions of my good friends, musicians and fellow clouders. Raphael who did a superb job for me with his guitars. I called in Vlad once again to do the bass for me, to which he also done a superb job, and I also dragged in Jaime again to say a couple of words for me as Margaret to which she always does a superb job of. The only additions I added myself to it, was my voice and lyrics, a few FX in the middle where it comes down, and a free voice sample of a 5 year old Childs voice saying the words Daddy, along with the final mix and production.

Dreams in the Rain (Music & Words by L. C. Lucas)

Lee Lucas - Vocals - Piano - Keyboards - Drum Programming.
Raphael GTR - Acoustic & Electric Guitars.
    Vlad Joesephson - Bass Guitar.
Jaime J. Ross - The Voice of Margaret.

    The lyrics are as follows:

He wakes up in the morning things are not quite what they seem,
he looks out the bedroom window thinking it was all just a dream.
But as he rushes down the stairs and finds he's still alone,
with no one there to comfort him in his unsettled home.

He makes a cup of coffee his mind is not quite what it seems,
it wonders off in lucidity and sees most unexpected things.
    Dreams in the rain.

    (Break)

By now he's in his garden he's looking all forlorn,
he don't know where he's going but he's seen it all before.
But as the rain that's falling starts to seep inside his brain,
his mind begins to wonder unexpectedly again.
    Dreams in the rain.
    Dreams in the rain.
