Quite simply, I made a search on freesound with the numbers provided for this assignment and chose to use whichever sound file was at the top of the search results.

Red (600) is portrayed with this sound: http://www.freesound.org/people/melack/sounds/13809/ which is a broken printer Epson Stylus 600
Green (540) is portrayed with this sound: http://www.freesound.org/people/reinsamba/sounds/33481/ which is a bird singing by a roadside at 5:40 AM
Blue (450) is portrayed with this sound: http://www.freesound.org/people/DrNI/sounds/27511/ which is radio static recorded by a t.bone SC450 condenser

At first I wanted to circumvent part of the assignment and make a flag in sounds, three different parts representing every color. Because, well, flags are pretty unnatural.

But then I decided that instead of fragmenting the light I should create some. So there you have it, a raga for the broken printer, a blackbird and an old AM radio.

    Enjoy!
