Dj, label manager and promoter for more than fifteen years and more recently a music composer. He's the co-founder of Trigger Recording, the label of famous leading composers such as Håkan Lidbo and Miguel Graça. Trigger has been the first independent Canadian electronic music record company under license with Warner Music Canada Co. François Lebaron's groundbreaking style is the result of many influences he takes in the 90's while producing major underground raves and inviting, for the first time in Montreal, top of the hill artist from Terry Lee Brown Jr, Thomas Shumacher to Woody McBride. Born on the south shore of Montreal, François has performed and held residencies in some of the hottest Canadian renowned venue such as Stereo, Aria, Red Lite, Circus, Metropolis, Piknic Electronik, Mercury Lounge, Mile End, Unity, Salon Daomé, Parking, U.N, Velvet and S.A.T. He shared the decks along side with icons such as Terry Lee Brown Jr, Håkan Lidbo, Brett Johnson, Morgan Geist, Subb-An, Footprintz, No Regular Play, and Voices Of Black just to name a few. Lebaron’s first CD release "Fishingindeeparea" in collaboration with the talented Swedish house producer Håkan Lidbo has placed him among the key figures of the Canadian electronic music industry, Lebaron has created a unique mixed compilation concept which is to compiled, edit and mixed a personal selection from the entire discography of one particular artist. Mr.Lebaron has also release a second mixed compilation with the recognized Canadian house producer and head of famous Epsilonlab’s imprint; Eloi Brunelle. François is now working on his first full length album which should be out soon but as teaser, check out his new single called Dice Roller featuring talented male singer Dee on Mile End Records (not to mention Monitor's remix of Dice Roller hit # 13 in Dance UK Radio Chart). Beside his musical career, François has been chosen to be the 18th Black & Blue Festival Artistic Director in 2008. The Black & Blue Festival is the most important indoor AIDS fundraiser electronic music event in the world.
