Piano, pop, instrumentals.. I store concepts and rough drafts on here most of the time. I have 15 or so full length songs that are composed, but not yet ready to be heard.

For some reason, I can't select your comment and respond to it. Thank you for the support. It means a lot to me. I'm glad my shitty songs can serve a purpose. They're so rough and conceptual that I fear people won't look past the mistakes, so it's always nice when someone can.

I'd be down for some sort of collaboration effort! The thing is.. I'm in the middle of moving, and I can't bring my keyboard with me. I'm going to lose my mind. Also, don't have a computer. No way to record anything properly. I just use my iPhone.

Your vocal melody reminds me of a Seether song. This is very early 00s electronic rock. I can tell you put a lot of effort in this. I like it a lot.

I'm gonna write a letter to myself and sing it to a song I know
If I didn't create it, it makes it less personal
When I'm done I'm gonna seal that motherfucker in an envelope
Mail it to a stranger, and hope that it brings them hope
    It says:

You are now the only person here
You think that you're not, but you are though

There'll come a time when everybody can rely on themselves
There was a time when nobody could call out for help
A little baby boy was born alone even though he had love
The people we'd call parents were fucking the whole thing up
A child's eyes has seen more than the world when it comes through your fists
Those compliments you gave were never more than daggers at best

if this land had veins it'd bleed for what i've done to it
i shared its body with you we built a house and now we run from it
fervent words weren't enough to glue us
and together we forgot who each other was
i'm not sorry that i left
i'm just depressed that you let go of me
    i tried my fucking best
but it's just not who you thought i would be
we can pretend this is not the end
but when does a friend stop being a friend
i'd hold on to that sentiment
but i haven't let go of it yet
so when you start to care i'll be here to tell you that i don't
i'm just some boy to you, some body whose face you can't quite place
    and i'm okay with that

forgetfulness leads me out of this burden
    desparation brings me back
    i pretend i don't need him
but i need him to remind me that
i don't need anyone, i just need me
    the lie of the century
i could save myself if i just gave myself
    the love i constantly seek

    live alone
    be alone
    i could never live alone
    or be alone
    without someone i feel cold
    even if the window's closed,
    and the fan is off
    i feel wrought

You asked me if I was afraid..
    Well, I am (I am)

    Nobody knows when it's time
    Nobody knows when they die

All the things that you'd want to do
(made up lyrics here), and in front of you

    (and I am)

    stay, if not today, someday
    why are you leaving
    when you'll be coming back
i thought promises meant all of the world to you
    i am not leaving

i found the picture of us hanging by the wall
we broke into when we were locked out

    stay, stay
you know i really do want you
i forgot what you taste like, what you look like too

    i promise in august
    all will be told
    all will be noted
all of my secrets will be yours
    we are sharing this

stay, not today, what day are you planning
when are you planning to love me like you loved him
i thought i was special to you
    you can take the jewelry
    you can take the cupboards
    you can take the ceiling
you can take, you can take
you can take all this shit 'cause i really don't need it today
it's just you, whatever you do, i love you

    you promised in august
    that all would be good
    all would be better
    in august, you fucking promised
    all would be better
    all would be better

    you promised in august
    all would be better

    well, we are not better
    nothing is better

    i hate august

    inconsolable dread
personified monsters from under my bed
if it's all in my head
then how can i judge what comes next
    or what to expect

that's why i am terrified of feelings
and you would be too if you never knew what real meant

    i'm so tired of me

This song has been improved, but due to my sustain pedal and my power adapter dying, I cannot record the finalized instrumental version. I've added some new segments to this piece, and I created a better bridge (if that's the term) to connect the verses to the "chorus". Thank you, everyone, for the listens and downloads. If you like what you hear stick around.
