my name is le prix - i am a producer / dj living in stockholm sweden . as sharing with many others - i have a big love for music ! i rent a studio from friend krister which is located in the south part of town called "sodermalm" or "soder" . i hang out here almost every day listening to records , doing beats + mixtapes ... when not in the studio - i like to hang out with friends , twit , play playstation + on weekends we use to visit the local club to check out beatmixes from dj´s spinning the electro stuff + smoke cigaretts  -

i was introduced to music relatively early ...my father is a record collector + keybordist - he listened and played a lot of jarre, the beatles + brian eno and also made he´s own new wave , ambient music ( which pressed up on 7:inch vinyl and sold only for a few bucks in the local food store ) much influences comes from him . but main intresst occurred few years later when discovered amiga , atari , depeche mode and heard "living on video" with trans-x  .

stuff that inspire me alot now are crash course in science , tik tok , limahl, stock aitken waterman + music mute , traccaseur and vallerie collective put out . i also get a lot of influences from friend neonworkouts italo + minimalwave ( vinyl ) collection - 

releases i have done so far is - a "original song" called "hockey enemy weapons denied" which made to sferro who runs girlfriendrecords blogspot in usa ( a collective i´m a member of ) . i also have few remixes out - "mandagsbarn" i did for veronica maggio and "love in july" i made for sally shapiro and johan angebjorn . it was released ( along with three other versions + sally and johans original ) on permanent vacation and paperbag records july this summer +  i also got my own mixtapes up here at soundcloud -

me + neonworkout ( neon ) also + recently started off a new band " the bmx ninjas" - we are currently working on a live set over at neons place ( located in "hogdalen" ) the setup we use is a drummachine ( a "roland" which neon has wired up with 2 laptops who´s runs music + visuals programs ) and from which we can control samples , loops + various visual effects . the goal is ( when we´re finnished ) to launch it off live + see how works on the dancefloors  -

the next le prix release is a song called "this is fiction" which is a kind of " 80´s scifi / horror song" named after speech samle ( using in the intro ) of a monster presenting and playing various "horror sound effects" on a midi keyboard  +  it will be out on sferro´s gfr very soon !
