So this is a cover of "This Charming Man" by The Smiths done in the style of Super Mario Bros.. I'm planning on doing a video as soon as I can figure out how to work with Flash. The sound effects are only there to help the listener visualize the "game". I'm looking to do other 80s songs in this style as well (with accompanying videos). Enjoy!
I would go out tonight but I havent got a chip to wear!!!!
This is awesome, the best I've heard this year so far. Reminds me of Silicon Teens back in 1979. We need a whole album of this!
can make this available to buy? LOVE IT! I want a ringtone for my iPhone please :-)
Hey Lazy, I love this so much. Two of my favorite things ever.
Question: I've been getting into amateur video game development lately, focusing mostly on platformer style stuff with good physics and game play, and you know what would be awesome? A game featuring The Smiths! It could be called Panic in Manchester, and you would play Morrissey trying to get away from all the screaming teenagers, throwing pockets full of flowers at them as you go to slow them down. :-) Or something like that...
Anyway, if I were to actually work on something like that, would you consider letting me use this song? It would be so perfect. No worries if not, but I had to ask.
I'm not looking to do anything professional at this point. It would just be for fun, although it would be as polished as a professional game if I can get the time and energy enough to work on it seriously. Here's a little sample of something I did recently. No actual gameplay yet, just working on the physics to start. (It's posted under my son's account by the way.)

Let me know what you think and take care...
