LayD Hilton is no stranger to the club industry... In the early 90s she got her first taste of house, watching it’s evolution from the dance floors of Brighton, London and beyond... Armed with years of experience being on the other side of the decks, Sonya moved to inside the DJ booth about four years ago. Her knowledge of house, charismatic personality and musical background combined to ensure the transition was very quick. In 2008 she was placed in the top 5 female DJs at Brighton’s prestigious Golden Handbag awards and her fan base is growing by the day. She’s a crowd pleaser… not a DJ pleaser and will be wowing the crowds on from behind the decks so as long as she sees people dancing waving their hands in the air with smiles on their faces then she’s a happy LayD.

End of 2008 LayD Hilton went forward and made her 1st ever track. The Divine Icons knowing her knowledge of music too their original track to her and asked her to do a club remix so she did... you can hear this on her myspace page.
