I am Laustin Audio - music is my passion. Growing up I listened to anything from classic rock to hip hop to electronic music - all of which have had big influence on my productions. In 2000 I started spinning records with my good friend, Ramza. Spinning and living in Montreal, Toronto and most recently Ottawa have also had a big impact on my productions.
In 2006 I took all the influence and experience that the rave/club scene gave and started producing breaks and chillout on Fruity Loops. Later I moved on to using Reason but the move to Ableton fundamentally changed my sound and the way I wrote music. It allowed me to more freely express my ideas and my music started to come into it's own.
My music influences include Nu:Tone, Calibre, Andy C, Ashes, High Contrast,Propeller Heads, Danny Byrd, Prodigy , Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Pink Floyd, The Doors. I will be posting new work as often as possible. I would appreciate any comments and feedback you could provide. As artists we never stop learning.
