About

Laurence Duff was born in 1986 on September the 8th. Stemming from an artistic family, strongly influenced him to open his mind to all artistic possibilities. In this past evolving world of creative multimedia and technology, a spark ignited the passion for discovery within. He began writing music at the age of 9 with a computer microphone, humming melodies and playing around on the keys. As a multi instrumentalist, over the years his style evolved along with the changes in his life. From his figure eight pen box bass, to his framed 12-string guitar harp, handmade and sampled by himself, used for his first and second singles Amor & Psyche (Piece 1.) and Beautiful Sound (Piece 2.).

The wonders of new groundbreaking technology led him to Streemliner. A 3D digital album packaging that holds all media from song's, lyrics, linear notes, music videos and short documentaries, displayed with the utmost beautiful art in a booklet that floats on your computer screen and feels as if you could reach out and hold it in your hand.. Created by Andy Carne, CEO of Streemliner (Previously know as 3DiCD). Streemliner strives to keep the art in music, alive. Streemliner is sure to grab some attention.

The Streemliner includes, song, instrumental, improvisation, music video and short documentary, put together solely by laurence himself. Laurence has the wonderful support and encouragement of his friends and family. He not only understands the meaning and the art of music composition, songwriting, producing, engineering, singing, and film-making, but also understands the music and multimedia is movement in depths of the quickly progressing world of technology and strives to create art everyone can relate to in his or her own way.

He now is known for appearances on the hit TV show Glee, How I Met Your Mother, Eli Stone and corky Sony Screengems movie, Fired Up. With all of his focus primarily on music, his mission "Duty" is to give back to youth (in particular; underprivileged and bullied) and create an art movement around the world. Over the past 2 years, Laurence has almost concurred the climb of making an album on his own. The full Album is due out in April-May of 2014 in every online music store on the web. The super exquisite Streemliner, will be available the same time on Laurence Duff's website www.LaurenceDuff.com under STORE tab.

The album is titled "Puzzle" for each “Piece” (song) listened to, brings you just one piece closer to finding completeting a “Puzzle” .
Once the missing piece is found by you the listener, the "Puzzle" will be complete an reveal a final surprise. The ultimate immersing fun of the 3D virtual album Streemliner experience holds a secret surprise! Laurence is set out to place a marker in music that is selfless and inspiring. "From all forms of art combined, makes music break the silence of absent hearts and mind"

"Can we discuss...?" love that! I wonder how many other listeners have noticed that fading line at the end. This song really takes me to many neglected spaces, especially an old grand piano sitting in my grandmother's house, which never gets played except for the occasional passer by who taps on the keys.
