With a natural flair for good sound and catchy hooks, Lars von Qualen has at age 21, and after the experience of the Danish equivalent to high school, been able to develop his very own unique sound, which naturally blends the insisting basslines and heavy bass drums of dubstep, with the dreamy melodies of electronica.
Through band activities, playing the guitar, Lars von Qualen has got a solid foothold in the acoustical music sphere, but he got drawn towards the overwhelming possibilities of computer music and it's simplicity of this, a couple of years ago. This has led to a lot of remix's and original productions, where a single has been released on iTunes.
Even though original productions have taken up a lot of time, Lars von Qualen has always managed to find time, to produce other bands and solo acts - with a wide variety in the form of expression, but always with focus on the good craftsmanship, no matter if it's sensitive singer/song writing or heavy electronic dance music.
After a productive Sabbath year, Lars von Qualen intends to start on a further going education in Aarhus city - but one thing is for sure: you will not be able to take the music away from the central place on his list of priorities. As an upcoming producer and artist, it will be exciting to see what the future holds for this hard working and dedicated man.
