A name you will probably have been hearing a lot of this year, Lakosa teams up with Pablo Rocc of 2SuckaDJs to deliver the 5 track 'Code Red EP' on IA Records this winter.

The father / son collaboration you are about to hear is nothing short of mind blowing. Kicking off with title track 'Code Red' you know instantly that you're in for an intense and lively 5 minutes. Bustling with energy the pair lock you into a tight groove with characteristics that can only be described as electric.

The remainder of the EP sees each producer turning in 2 tracks each. Pablo Rocc's 'Trouble' sustains a firm focus on the dancefloor. Heavy and relentless kicks form the backbone of a story that reveals 2 sides. Enticing you in with warm grainy melodies before turning towards its sinister side and letting the low end take the lead at the drop. Next up Pablo Rocc's second solo 'Believe It' acts as somewhat of a turning point. We're heading straight down a darkened tunnel from here on in. Slightly more stripped back, rolling and suited to the late night floors, taking on a rough and capricious persona.

Lakosa returns to proceedings with 'Victim', a low slung moody cut of mutant house. Pulsating subs and crisp drums lead the track into a tense and dynamic zone. Rounding off the EP is Lakosa's 'Don't Worry'. Taking the tempo down, pushing the lows to the forefront and rolling out in true after-hours behaviour.
