The Laid Back project (aka LDBK) first came together in 2002 as a weekly radio show broadcasted on a local radio station in Brussels. However, music is nothing without context, stories, images and therefore, we always try to integrate and share as much content as possible about the music we are playing, presenting it in new ways with pertinent background stories, captivating visuals and the best layout.

Our priority is to connect existing communities around the world and activate them to engage in different projects. Most of our content is exclusive and generated through this unique and ever-growing international network of creative minds (designers, photographers, writers, artists, musicians, DJ’s, software developers, filmmakers and so forth).

We focus on everything urban related be it music, art, lifestyle or whatever topic we feel like to discuss. While music wise, we play everything from Soul, Funk, Jazz, Psych Rock, Disco and Latin music to Hip Hop and much more.

After exploring the FM airwaves for more than 8 years, we launched LDBK radio - an online radio station playing the best in urban music from the last 40 years.
