Laertis was born and raised in Heraklion, the capital of Crete, in Greece.
As a teenager he studied the classical guitar and was headbanging to the music of the metal bands of
the ‘80s and ‘90s. Consequently, he started taking electric guitar lessons with his passion for rock and
metal music culminating into forming a band to jam with.
His passion for music led him to explore electronic music in the late ‘90s and started experimenting with
computer generated music.
As of that, he studied Music Technology & Acoustics in Crete’s Technological Institute, in Rethymnon, Crete.
There, he found himself from clubbing to DJ-ing, as a professional resident DJ in some of the greatest
and most renowned clubs in town, such as Ice Club (2005-2009) and Fortezza Club (2009-2010) where
he played along with Serge Devant, Dousk,
V-Sag and Alexandros Christopoulos, among others.
In early 2011, he moved in Athens to elaborate his studies on Electronic Music Production & Sound
