Simply put, L337SP34K (pronounced "LEET-SPEAK"), is a two man DJ duo from Toronto, Canada. The two mid 20s lads got together to start the project in early 2010 when they began work on their first song together. Since then, they have been crashing parties, bringing their blend of French/Dutch disco house, with a Toronto sound, style flavourings to an unsuspecting suburban crowd, upping their street cred.
L337SP34K got their start producing in Joe's basement running an incredibly modest set up. It quickly progressed to epic overnight mixing sessions in Cam's garage, affectionately known as the man fort, on an even humbler set up consisting of carpentry tables and guitar amps.
The duo released their first single, a harsh unforgiving dance track titled F0R3N51K5 in January 2010, and was instantly the hush about the interwebs just as soon as the track was e-mailed out to various blogs. Since then, they have self released a trio of other tracks and two mixtapes.
