Kyla's performances have been described as "sex on a mic". She is one of Australia’s most in-demand vocalists for live PA shows, exclusive corporate events and productions in the house music scene.
Now after many years of freestyling to house music in nightclubs; singing in the DJ box and on speaker stacks in clubs all around the world, after many successful single releases in the soulful house scene, Kyla is now spreading her genre wings to expand into pop, rock and soul for her debut artist release.
After independently releasing a neo-jazz hip-hop EP "I was told there would be refreshments" with Sydney Producer "The Shelltoes" Kyla is now hard at work on her debut album co-writing new material with Sydney label owner of Random Soul, singer, writer and producer, Yogi. Her new sound really showcases her stunning, pristine voice, performing prowess and insightful songwriting.
She was recently a finalist in the 2010 APRA Professional Development Awards with her new sound and many are eagerly awaiting her debut album Watch out for this release in early 2012.
