Kwabena Nip, a leading independent Reggae artist, today announced the release of a charity single for East African disaster relief. The aptly worded "Bloody River" single features music from Germain Jackson, and Thunderbird Productions based in Kingston, Jamaica. All proceeds from the single will be donated directly to relief organizations working on the ground in East Africa.
While recording his second album in Jamaica, they decided at first to donate the single as a gift to the world. But after witnessing the hunger, disaster and draught in East Africa, they immediately agreed to donate all proceeds from Kwabena's latest single to East African relief agencies
" I was born caring,- I have no fear of sharing - and that is why i am Inviting you to share , " said Jamaican-born Kwabena Nip.
"In a world of abundance, we brush the crumbs from the master's table. But it is time for us to gather the crumbs and share with those who we should care for.
"We are happy to donate 100% directly to this urgent mission, and invite the public to give whatever they can via the justgiving.com website." he added.
